The film-makers probably intended to enable the viewers to be able to read the entire text without missing any portion, and hence contributing to the goof.
(at around 1h 20 mins) When Khalujaan fired at Kamalkant's runaway car to stop him, the car was going downhill, while the gun was held level with his outstretched arm, the resulting aim of which would have caused the shot to go over the car, thus missing the car completely. But, the shot had ended up hitting the tyre and bursting it.
