Derrex Brady, Deji LaRay, Thomas Q. Jones, and Philip Smithey in Johnson (2021)

Review by abbaelohim

Johnson

10/10

Women need to see this show!

The thing that attracted me to Johnson in the first place was that it was about four Black men, their friendships, and their worlds. All of this is told from a male viewpoint, so the show is automatically invaluable. Especially great is the way it deals with current events, careers, overcoming, and love.

Women who want to understand the men in their lives need to watch a show like this. I'm sure those same women would take a man's advice about their issues with men. This fits the bill.

It's a wonderful show. I tell every woman I know about it. And that they should watch. I wish the episodes were longer. On a side note, who couldn't like how the intro includes Greg's Buick Electra 225 convertible? For four men who aren't related by blood, they sure act like kin, even when things go wrong. The negative reviews here are undeserved. Read the positive ones. Then binge-watch up to the latest episode. You will understand.
