While I dont mind biting my tongue at times when it is so difficult to buy and believe but the lack of imagination and poor writing in the first episode is hard to let go. The actors try their best with the material given. The fight scenes are like high school shadowboxing presented as real fighting. It is good for some laughs as the fight scenes are so bad. The cgi can only carry a story so much. With disney clearly only caring for their bottom line and pumping out these star wars shows, to make sure they get every last penny out of buying the asset, the quality clearly starts to lack in every aspect.
