Funny and completely lovable, I loved this show when I was little

I am 17, but I remember this wonderful show with such fondness. One of my earliest childhood memories, Rosie and Jim was funny and lovable. There was a time when I used to own a vast majority of the episodes on video, and it was something I watched all the time. For a kids show, it had lovely production values, and the show respects John Cunliffe's stories. Plus John Cunliffe stars as John and he does a great job. I particularly loved the parts when he was writing the stories, and the animated parts were well done. The title sequence was truly memorable, I mean I still remember it even after 7 years or so when I have been unable to find this gem. (I have a thing for nostalgia). Rosie and Jim were fun and appealing, and that duck on top of the barge was funny. The stories were sharply written, educational and fun. How I can tell you how much I loved this gem of a series. I just pray it hasn't been forgotten. 10/10 Bethany Cox

    Honest and pure

Great show designed for kids that an adult wouldn't hate having to watch with them. I remember loving this as a child and truly couldn't fault it. The simple let me read you a story type show becomes something so much more when you have these loveable characters brought to life by the actual author. It's not something you're going to enjoy now but it's still the perfect show for small children. They will love the colour and the story elements and you can trust it won't having anything you wouldn't want them seeing. They don't play up to what kids want like some shows, they just teach them valuable lessons about life in a fun way. Its pure positivity that promotes good behaviour.

    Childhood memories

I used to watch Rosie and Jim when I was a child. It was shown on UTV via ITV as a part of their children's block CITV in the 1990s. I kinda missed the old days of CITV. I thought I found it very entertaining and funny as well. I think Rosie is my favourite character in Rosie and Jim. Rosie looks very cute, doesn't she? I thought I had a crush on Rosie.

Sometimes I can watch Rosie and Jim on YouTube. I am in my thirties and I still like Rosie and Jim.

It's a shame that Rosie and Jim isn't on anymore. I don't know why Rosie and Jim has been cancelled years ago.

If you enjoy watching other classic British kids' programme, you'll like it.

Rosie and Jim in dah hishouse!

    I loved the theme song.

The production was great all around. No complaints. I mean the puppets look spooky but that made the show work.

Overall, children show with learning experiences

What can be learned? Be polite to each other.

    Verdict: Love the Theme song.
