We watched this with our family including our nine year old daughter and we all really enjoyed it. It has all the usual ingredients of a tearjerker film about pets but nonetheless, we thought it was great.

I'm unsure why there are criticisms about the acting-we thought it was a well made film. Also, the use of several dogs was not even noticed by us.

Good family entertainment that is enjoyable to watch with children aged about five and older.
