Gunless (2010)

Goofs

Gunless

Edit

Continuity

At the beginning of the movie, after his horse wanders into town the Montana kid's hands are obviously bound. He asks the little girl to unbind his hands just before she untangles him from his horse, dumping him to the ground. Even though she doesn't untie his hands, the ropes are gone and his hands are free when he stands up.
The mountain kid's (Paul Gross) hat brim changes shape throughout the movie, sometimes within the same scene.

Miscellaneous

The uniforms worn by the NWMP are wrong. During the fight at the post Corporal Jonathan Kent, who shouldn't be wearing an officer's sword, is dressing down a crowd which includes Sergeants.

Anachronisms

One of the rifles used is a Winchester 1894. The film is set in 1878 16 years before the rifle was invented.
According to the general store workers they can't sell liquor due to prohibition. The film is set in British Columbia in the late 1870s. British Columbia did not have alcohol prohibition at this time.
During the shoot out scene, stacked firewood can be seen in the background that has been sawn into pieces rather than chopped. Saws were used only for cutting dimensioned wood.
