It seems like after every sentence, there's a hearty laugh, from a laugh track, even if there's nothing to laugh at. India de Beaufort seems to be over acting & she pauses after most lines, waiting for a laugh. Either better writing or directing could make this show last. Otherwise, I can't see it lasting as long as its predecessor did. There are other comedy shows (American Auto being one) that are funny enough to have the at home audience laugh on their own. There doesn't seem to be a good enough reason why Night Court viewers need to listen to the getting to be annoying laugh track. Leave it out & let the viewers decide what's funny.
