This garbage tier sitcom can't hold a candle to the original. All the characters are as interchangeable as they are disposable. Just another soulless revival of a formerly successful franchise. Apparently NBC didn't care enough about the show to PAY the original cast to come back (without whom there would be no dead horse of a franchise to beat 3 decades after the fact). It wasn't just the original cast who gave the original show it's magic but also Reinhold Weege; who made the whole premise work. The Night Court revival is like having Taylor Swift cover Metallica's one; no amount of soulless money grubbing will ever reproduce the magic that made the original a show worth watching. RIP Harry Anderson!
