This was an interesting new edition to Netflix, one that I didn't burn through in a couple of days like some series I will binge through. A premise that could seem like it wouldn't work out that well because of "bad writing" but this show capably does it right enough to keep the audience entertained without too much teenage troupe. The story is simple of ghosts being real and a government department has been set up to deal with it. A MIB kind of thing. Teens with special gifts being called upon to hunt down malevolent spirits using more commonly known instruments you will have seen in past movies.

With a relatively unknown cast with some having next to no acting credits to mention. They all do a wonderful job portraying the characters they are meant to. I no nothing of the source material from which it comes from; so I have nothing to have whether or not they are true to it.

I do not know if this will be green lit for a second season even though it definitely has been left open for one but I do hope more watch it so that it does. But this is on Netflix and who knows.
