If it's interesting it's for other reasons than the story itself

I agree with another reviewer who said that this is an 'empty' episode. Jeff wins a car (it's a Ferrari, and a very expensive one) with a raffle ticket he finds on the ground - which he saw dropped there by someone else. There are lots of holes and unanswered questions in this episode. For one thing, what person running a raffle is going to let a teenager take possession of a vehicle like that while not of legal age? To be honest, if I had been Jeff I'd have kept my mouth shut about where I got that ticket. He had tickets for the raffle also, so one of them could have been the winner. And a Ferrari is a VERY expensive car for a grocery store to give away like that - perhaps a suburban shopping center might do it but a grocery store?

I've wondered if just possibly Paul Peterson might have owned that Ferrari which is how it got used in the episode. While not as highly paid then as actors are now, I expect he could have bought a car like that if he'd wanted to. It would not have been the first time an actor used their own car in a TV show. By the way, Jeff got a quote for insurance on that Ferrari. Including collision coverage, $180.

The car Jeff won is a 1962 Ferrari 250 GT California Spyder. Only 106 were built between 1957 and 1963, and only 37 with the headlamp covers like this one. In 2023, one sold at auction for more than $18 million.
