    So bad...

The only good thing about this episode is the 80's music. The cartoon portion is embarrassingly cringe worthy and just awful. This season so far is really mediocre and boring.

    Amazing

The whole hell sequence of this episode is one of my favorite things to come out of this show. And some big plot twists as well. I won't say too much to avoid spoiling, because you should definitely watch this for yourself. Just great, season is off to a strong start.

    Ridiculous

This series always straddled the line between serious and camp but this season is weak so far and this episode is just silly. Luce is supposed to be trying to become God but this is a Glee episode.

    Worst episode ever...until it wasn't

No spoilers here, you already know about the cartoon part, but I was underwhelmed with this episode until all was revealed. We were in tears, and both agreed it went from a stupid pointless indulgence to a gripping, emotional story. Excellent TV.

    one of the series' best

Premise is ridiculous but in such a good way. This episode's got it all: humor, heart, supernatural shenanigans, tons and tons of adorable moments between our two leads. 10/10 one of my favorites in the whole show.

    • Trivia
Lucifer talks about it being a bad idea that Fox canceled Bones (2005), which is a dig at Fox for canceling "Lucifer" at about the same time.
    • Goofs
Around 1m 07s, after Lucifer enters Linda's office and sits down, she glances at some papers on her desk - which are from a novel she's writing. The title page is fine, but on the page to the right, all the words are backwards. The pages to the left and upper part of the screen are absolute jibberish.
