Celebrity Ghost Stories

This show is awesome. Im big into horror and always have been. Theres something about this show that scares me more than a lot of actual horror movies/other shows. The way they make the atmosphere in every story thats told is extremely creepy. It has me looking behind my back at night A LOT. I think about and watch this show often and will always love it.

For reviewer Hanna07, it didn't give me the option to reply to your review. Not even sure you'll even see this. In regards to the statement "half of these people". The first sentence says "75% of Americans believe in the paranormal". So, when the second sentence says "half of these people" they mean half of the 75% of believers in the paranormal believe they've experienced paranormal themselves. They're not saying half the people in the show don't believe they've had experiences. Good basic content with believable witnesses (Tick) Ridiculous flashes of sound and evil images. (Cross) Who goes ghost hunting with all the lights off? (This is pure Goat Rope)

I've seen two demons (Ghosts, Spirits) physically manifest and they weren't my old auntie Nelly LOL The first thing I did, after telling them to get out in Jesus name, (and they immediately did) was to turn the light on. Believe it or not LOL

All the above produces an end result of "Why am I watching this 'reality' program that has all the appearances (excuse the pun) of a Hollywood drama.

PS I've chased demons out of people in broad daylight and in homes at night with the lights on.

50+ years as a preacher and evangelist with the gifts of discernment and healing. I mentioned this series last night when I preached as a reminder to the Church that we are living in a spiritual universe.

I for one have always liked scary tales, and classic moments that people remember of ghosts. And this little series "Celebrity Ghost Stories" is just fine as it interviews the well known as they tell about their haunting moments of the past! The stories are told thru react type footage and some of them are scary and others have crazy historical and regional backgrounds tied to the tales. And many many famous people have been haunted you have everyone from Dee Wallace Stone, Phyliss Diller, Adrienne Barbeau and the likes of Roddy Pipper, Harry Hamlin and Louis Gossett Jr. and even Regis Philbin. Wow it's always interesting to hear these stories it's one neat little series.

My problem with all these ghost storie shows. As the noise. It's obnoxious, they try to make them far more intense than they are, and it doesn't work. If the story isn't chilling enough with out background noise, it is not scary at all. This one is the worse with the background noise, it comes off like it's in the foreground you can barely hear the stories at all.
