If you don't mind watching a movie that looks like it was made in a week this one is for you

    (2011) Travellers PSYCHOLOGICAL DRAMA/ SUSPENSE

Four bikers decide to go on an adventure getting themselves mixed up with what some people call pikey/ gypsies also called 'travellers' group, and are assumed who were following them. And as it turns out the so-called "travellers' are not really bad people after all- just misunderstood. And that it was really, one of the four bikers who is the crazy one with a very pointless build up. The movie that was written and directed by Kris McManus also has clear inspired notions of "Fight Club" added in it too. If there a movie that would be nominated for the cheap production movie award without any thought this would be it.

    An Improver

For the first 15 or 20 minutes this looked every inch a no budget, student project. If you were watching it on DVD or TV you might even give up on it. Don't.

The film improves dramatically as it goes on.

It adds tension, better characterisation and a reasonable slice of horror too.

There is a cracking bare knuckle fight scene, something that no film about travellers would seem to be without.

The performances are mixed, but certainly most of the characters are believable, hinting at a depth beyond their on screen actions.

On the balance a film worth watching. Give it a go, but stick with it!

Hit City boys: hug Irish Travellers

Living in the City with money at your fingertips doesn't necessarily make you a nice person: take the example of Andy Baxtor (played by Tom Geoffrey), who decides, when on a weekend romp with 3 buddies, to deface someone's home, in this case a grimy caravan owned by Irish travellers. The joke's on Andy and his friends when four grim-looking figures slowly appear over the horizon, ready to wreak vengeance. The bleakest of them is a lantern-jawed bruiser with a limp, a bare-knuckle champion (Martin - played very well by Dean S Jagger) who decides that retribution needs to be wreaked in the ring.

The film's main highlights are the set-piece scenes, particularly the bare-knuckle-sequences that also serve the added function of giving us nice music to listen to. The music, for this (low) budget level of film is pretty good.

The message of the film is mixed, but it certainly pushes its point home in the last act where the violence lives up to the film's 18 certificate.

Definitely not one to watch with your mum.

So much wrong with it i didn't have time to wright it

Basically this film is about a group of guys go on an adventure weekend in the country side with no phones just there bikes and a tent, you do the guessing. There isn't really much of a story to this film, The dialog goes as far as a few swear words and a half arsed convocation, normally stating the obvious. The characters don't even look as if they even no each other at all and the editing and filming is really sloppy, it looks as if someone has put the film together in about half an hour using footage someone has filmed off there phone, mostly mixing random slow mo running scenes with the 2 other characters in the caravan having a good old chat, it looks like 2 different films. But I thought I will carry on and give it a chance and actually I am glad I did because although it didn't get much better the ending is quite good and it did make half of the film make a lot more sense.

Some people have compared this film to other great British films such as This is England and Eden lake but I can azure you this is know where near as good as them!!

Over all the film was pretty crappy the only good parts was the fight scene and the ending I just wish that someone with half an idea would have made this film into something great but unfortunately no one did and this is the out come. Remember just because the trailer looks good doesn't mean the film is any good!

    Thanks for reading!

Not a boxing film, Not a biker film, Not Deliverance UK.

On the face of this film, it starts out looking like a UK version of Deliverance (sans the banjo duel). About halfway through the film it develops into something quite different.

Some of the bad reviews here have commented that this was a poor Boxing film. It does have ONE boxing scene, but that doesn't make it a boxing film. Another reviewer made a similar comment about motorcycles—look people, just because there's an element of something in a film doesn't mean that film is about that one thing for which you seem to be looking. Honestly I think those critics should stick to their day job because obviously they don't know the first thing about film.

This is not a big budget production, but I think the final product is on par with most of what's coming out of Hollywood these days—no worse and no better. It won't win any awards for cinematography, but neither does it abuse the camera in trying to tell the story as do so many low budget films.

There was a bit more gore than suits my taste, more than I thought the story needed, but still it was a decent watch. If you are looking for a boxing film, or a motorcycle film, or Deliverance UK style, you will be disappointed. If you go into it without those expectations, you might actually enjoy it.
