What it offers is what it gives, neither more nor less.
We can go two ways with this movie: on the one hand, thinking that it is something serious and profound and therefore it will seem very bad, lacking in content, meaningless, with conveniences, etc. But on the other hand, there are those of us who expect a 2-hour show, something to pass the time, with at least regular CGI and to unplug the brain for this period of time.
In previous installments, more Kaijuu were requested, well, we have more Kaijuu. Does this make the movie better? I don't know, but it allows what I want to see to be what I actually see.
For the rest, it is not going to stand out, it has done well at the box office so there could be more movies, personally I think the universe is running out... but well, if the box office is good, who are we to say otherwise?
