    GET OUT AND DO SOMETHIN'.

Dedicated to tv buffs who remember Tina Cole on HAWAIIAN EYE, where she began her career. We loved her. Back in the day Tina made a super addition to the classic cop show, playing the young cigarette girl in a nightclub.

Writer George Tibbles likely ran with the idea, wanting to bring back a few memories at the same time. Katie's latest project is to land a job, not wanting to be a stay-at-home mom forever. She has a little luck when she's hired at a small club, only instead of selling smokes, she becomes the new singer. Pretty nice. All is not glitter though, Steve and Charley believing she may get mixed up with the wrong folks...

Screen tough guy Anthony Caruso (Frank) plays the cafe owner -- but he turns out to be a good guy. Watch how things turn around, and in a very fun way. A memorable story, showing off Tina Cole's talent. Surprise to see Anthony Caruso, who appeared in scores of movies and tv shows, notably GUNSMOKE. Gene Tyburn plays the pianist, also a Gunsmoke alum.

Best part is the song Tina sings, called "The Fountain," which was written especially for her by Don Grady. A sweet thing to do. Applause to hair stylist Sherry Wilson, who did Katie's make-over. Sherry had a distinguished career, working on such film classics as THE GRADUATE and HARLOW.

Thank you George Tibbles. SEASON 12 EPISODE 10 remastered color. All 12 seasons are now on dvd in a single box set for ultimate fans.

    • Trivia
Although Don Grady's name appears in the credits for each show this season, his lone contribution occurs here as the composer of the song "The Fountain" that Tina Cole sings. Katie (Tina Cole) claims authorship of the song, an expression of the love and the longing she has for the absent Robbie (Don Grady).
