Classic Christie
I'm an Agatha Christie tragic. And perhaps I infuse a little to much wistfulness into my reading. But recent adaptations have tended towards the gothic if not the down right grim. Lots, if not most, of Ms Christie's books contained humour. And this is a great example, moments of drama and violence, interspersed with our plucky young duo gamely "carrying on with a stiff upper lip". Casting was perfect. Just wish Emma Thompson had a larger part, my absolute favourite 5 min of the mini series was her scene. Please Mr Laurie, direct more ASAP.
