Poor Things

10/10

The Oscar and the Golden spheres are coming Home

Yorgos has created a masterpiece this time. All the contributors were awesome, from the actors to the costume-designer, from the aesthetic to the direction. A true masterpiece. Congratulations to everyone for this outcome.

The film is really interesting from the beginning till the end. The characters are amazing, Mark Raffalo, Emma Stone, William Dafoe, what a feeling to enjoy these excellent roles. The story is really unique (great book) too. Moreover, the ideas and the values, which this movie presents are very clear and progressive, good thing in general for Hollywood films. Usually somebody can get bored from the deep meaning or the specific concept of a film, but in this film everything seems to bond casually and with harmony. The humour and the grotesque moments and scenes give a light atmosphere to the characters and the movie as a whole.

To sum up Yorgos brings finally something new to the cinema world, something fresh with innovative ideas and important messages. Hollywood just sit down on your couch and learn from somebody that knows how to do it right.

P. S. If somebody didn't like the movie or found it provocative, there is always Aquaman playing on screen, go and enjoy!

Kisses from Athens.
