Pretentious pointless irrelevance
Nothing about this film is worth sitting through more than 2 hours of pointless disjointed repetitive nonsense & a story that has no consistency or worthy message, only a few old style sex scenes. Emma Stone plays a part that did not require a great actor and she did not impress with her character although responsibility for that must lie with the Director who showed no new ideas or creativity in the telling of this half-hearted gothicish variation on Frankenstein. Only Mark Ruffolo brought any personalty to the screen. I've seen many odd films over the past 50years and this is not only one of the oddest but is also one of the worst.
