Thoroughly enjoyed. Great to see something different. Concentrating on local Alaskan newspaper, and outlines the problems they face, with the spine of the story about the lack of attention to the disappearance of indigenous women, but so much more. An experienced lady reporter who initially considers remote local news beneath her, used to supposed bigger things, but soon finds there are definitely big things that need investigating and spotlighting, local and sometimes wider reaching. A disparate group of people, all with their own issues, backstory, likeable and decently fleshed out in the time available. And for us, seeing the issues in a very different but very real world to ours just enhances it. Just found it is not progressing. 'Kin 'ell, what is WRONG with these damn studios, so many brilliant things canned, while producing so much dross. This deserved far better. Gutted.
