    Voyage of Temptation

This episode reminded me of the parasite episode from earlier this season, just more intense and with what felt like more stakes. All the development of the previous episode perfectly carries over and gives the situation and emotional backdrop, making us feel sympathetic for the characters involved, especially Obi-Wan. The episode was filled with great action and some very good writing, even though the ending felt a little anticlimactic. I never realized how well the show developed the relationship between Obi-Wan and Satine before my rewatch, which makes the later interactions between them much richer and more enjoyable. The only thing that bothered me was the re-used traitor plotline from the previous episode. It feels like everyone on Mandalore is a traitor at this point, this really makes me question Satine's rule. But then again, maybe that is the whole idea.

    Force of Attraction

I like the way this episode develops a love interest for Obi Wan because, despite what some might think, it fits perfectly with the character of Obi Wan. He admits that in his youth he might have flouted his Jedi rules to be with her but he didn't and he now remains loyal to his Jedi ways by not getting involved with her. It creates a nice romance that cannot be fulfilled which works well dramatically. It also demonstrates the difference between Obi Wan and Anakin: Obi Wan was tempted in his youth but is now a disciplined, loyal Jedi willing to sacrifice everything for his duty. Anakin gives in to temptation and attachment. A really interesting exploration.

There is also fun dialogue, banter and good action in this very good episode.

    My rating: 8.5/10.

    I can't believe it

Thinking about I almost dropped the series several episodes back and this episode shows up to give me hope. The best episode until now.
