Yes it's a lower budgeted film but they did a decent job here. I enjoyed it. Mel Gibson is good in everything he is in and he's good here too. Kevin Dillon is also really good. They really stand out. I also thought the actor playing the villain and the actor playing Gibson's partner in the force were good too. The rest of the cast ranged from bad to ok but the two leads carry the weight of the film and elevate the material by not phoning it in and having fun in the roles. I enjoyed watching a movie where the camera isn't shaking every single second to "enhance" the action. Simple doesn't always mean bad.
