It's not what they keep claiming. The first five minutes is people telling you how blown away you'll be. All I saw was white dots against black. The lines they show on a single frame couldn't be a single object moving. There could be random light leak causing it in the camera. I just watched the beginning and end so I have no idea what happens beyond that but I scanned it and the whole film looked like the first five minutes and when I paused the film it was always someone raving about how awesome it all was. Claiming you have proof requires actual proof and not a bunch of random dots. They claim they took all precautions but a magician would do a facepalm at what they called precautions. They only let her have the camera all alone for the whole night but they processed the film themselves. So it was impossible for her to fake it when she had a whole night to herself? Filming a bunch of people telling you how incredible it is isn't a documentary. I gave it a three but the truth is as far as proof of UFOs I'd give it a one star. They do show some actual moving film at the end but it was some of the least impressive footage I've ever seen. Anyone serious about the subject lost interest in lights in the sky decades ago. There's simply too many things they can be.

Just watch it. Not a waste of time. I hadn't heard of Dorothy Izatt but I think she is legit and her footage is captivating.
To the person who said the lights in the window were a reflection, you obviously either weren't listening or didn't watch that movie in it's entirety because they clarified that one side was open. There was no glass to reflect. It was a screen.
I shouldn't have watched this alone.
Maybe the ringing in my ears all this time are aliens trying to get a message to me? Lol.

The reason I say this is the best ever made is simply because Dorothy is such a sweetheart and I truly believe her. Most people who have met her have come to the same conclusion--she is telling the truth, and she has the video to prove it.
The evidence is compelling. Dorothy has yet to be debunked as a scam, and after you watch the film, you will see why.
Compelling, inspiring and beautiful documentary.

Frank Longo has done an excellent job of capturing the story and experiences of Dorothy Izatt, a grandmother living in Vancouver, who has had contact with 'Light beings' and bizarre aerial light phenomena for over 30 years. The film, which as well as interviewing Dorothy and showing some of her remarkable footage, also spends time with her family to get their perspectives on her incredible experiences and how it's affected Dorothy and them. Not all of her family members are as open to what Dorothy claims to be in contact with as she is, but their own doubts and scepticism are put to the test when the documentary film-makers reveal that they may have caught more than they bargained for! If you are interested in UFO's, contact with 'other worldly beings' or just a fascinating and thought provoking story, 'Capturing The Light' is highly recommended and gives a refreshingly different perspective on what 'alien' contact may actually be like.
