Continuity

The cigarette pack moves on the table between shots when Leckie has a conversation with the doctor to leave the hospital.
While Leckie and Dr. Grant are having a conversation over burgers, the camera cuts back and forth between the two. While the camera is facing Grant, the empty Coke bottle that Leckie has been using for ash collection is full of smoke from the embers and ash. While the camera is facing Leckie, the smoke is gone.

Factual errors

The pack of Lucky Strikes offered to the psychiatrist was the white Luckies pack. The 1942-1943 Luckies packs were green.
As the US fleet steams toward Gloucester, one ship is flying the National Ensign from its jack-staff in the bow. The National Ensign is flown from the main mast once a vessel casts off from a port dock or when it weighs anchor. In port or at anchor, the National Ensign is flown from a staff at the stern of the vessel, and union jack is flown from the bow jack staff. The National Ensign is never flown from the bow.
