The Worst of 1987
Siskel & Ebert (1988)
The Worst of 1987
"Big Stars Gone Wrong" is the subject of this episode, which takes a look at the worst movies of 1987. These episodes of siskel and Ebert were always the most entertaining because the critics got to go after the big films that turned out awful. Some of the examples include OVER THE TOP, BEVERLY HILLS COP II, THE SECRET OF MY SUCCESS, BURGLAR, CRITICAL CONDITION, LIKE FATHER LIKE SON, LEONARD PART 6 and ISHTAR. If you're a fan of the show then you'll certainly enjoy this episode where we get some pretty logical discussions including how someone as intelligent as Bill Cosby could read the screenplay to something like LEONARD PART 6 and think it was funny. The running "issue" with these films were the screenplays and that's something still haunting Hollywood thirty-years later.
