Sister Nicci makes Kahlan's life depend on her own, forcing Richard to go with her in search of the Stone of Tears. At the same time other sisters of the dark are trying to kill Nicci to get her powers. Left behind, Kahlan and the rest of the team will try to break the spell so Nicci's death won't mean Kahlan's too.

The second season of the "Legend of the Seeker" has gone over its half, but Richard and the rest are still trying to find the Stone of Tears, the show having gone on adventures of the week without advancing the plot much. But who cares when the adventures are so much fun? In this occasion, Richard has to join forces with Sister Nicci, while other sisters of the dark try to kill them. Again, this brings new dynamics that are a lot of fun, even if it falls more than once on predictable plot developments. The adventures of the rest of the team are a little bit of a filler, but interesting enough, as they help a little bit with their background stories.

A fun episode, but a little bit of more plot wouldn't be unwelcome.

Tabritt of course quickly filled the vacuum in this show. I mean, I'm not a fan of Bridget Regan, I loved her in that story arc on BEAUTY & THE BEAST, but Mother Confessor Kahlan is just not popular with me. Previous episode, along came a fox, a blonde fox, a brown-eyed blonde fox, Emily Foxler, Sister Nicci... And I am hooked, mesmerized, dangling... I unfortunately know she's not gonna stay around, research on her showed only one episode more in this series, and judging from the snake-eyes, oh, sticky end predicted, but what a girl! I am mesmerized, have I said that already?

It's a jumble of green and red and blonde and a spider and those snake-eyes and I'm just very glad that I downloaded the trailer for Season 2 after being somewhat less than thrilled with Season 1. Hey, I'd have signed up for 3... oh, well...
