Almost Invisible

This film begins with eight college students in desperate need of something to do over the weekend. So, when a social outcast named "April" (Sara Cole) tells them that her parents will be out of town for a couple of days, they reluctantly accept her offer to throw a party there. But even then, none of them really want to socialize with April. Unfortunately, their preoccupation with each other begins to fade when bizarre things start happening. And the longer they stay in the house, the worse things become. Now, rather than reveal any more, I will just say that this film definitely had its faults. For starters, the character development was extremely bad, and it was sometimes difficult to place the right name with the right person. Likewise, the dialogue and music--while possibly fashionable for this particular group--didn't quite appeal to me either. That being said, although having several attractive, bikini-clad actresses certainly didn't hurt this film, it just wasn't enough for me to consider rating it any higher than I have. Below average.

This film is kind of scary !

You might try to write it off as a direct to DVD release with no budget,But WAIT .

So its a wild party at 'the girl who nobody likes' house.

There is a lot of pretty people doing bad things and the haunted house may take exception to their subversive ways.

Effects seem to be all computer originated,But very welcome sights.

Great camera work.

Wild sound effects.

Lots of nubile body shots.

Lotsa people will overlook or hate this flick. But if you're a fan of movies that are unique or make you feel sonewhat uneasy in an unexplainable way then don't skip out on this flick. Its cheap and tawdry and utterly self serious... and it's made by someone who put alot of effort into it. Interesting editing weird story and lurid unsettling little set pieces all come together in a mess of a flick that is quite surreal and nightmarish...but not in an acid trip sort of way, more like an -I may have taken too much cold medicine- sort of way

there's a lot of weird ideas here and I wish this dude got just a bit more money from somewhere and made another flick.

If harsh cuts and flashing images is your style of film, this will be perfect. If you enjoy continuous flashbacks and non-linear storytelling, this film is amazing. Further, this film will be great for any movie-goer who likes a cult classic or indie film shouting amateur and old.

If those details sound like you, enjoy! Otherwise, this film will be hard to watch: you really can't ignore the bad acting and flashbacks to events and plot holes that are never really explained(until you forget they happened). The concept is interesting, but it's nothing worth watching if you aim to be entertained without too many questions after.

Gold Star Moment: special effects...they're amusing to watch, and bring the scary element s to the the film.

I have watched some amazing horror films lately.....Family Demons, The loved Ones, Lovely Molly, Evil Things, Theatre Bizarre, Heartless and Little deaths and than there have been some awful films of late such as Episode 50, Monsters in the Woods, VHS, Bad Bush, Final remains and than there is the GOD AWFUL Almost Invisible and I paid $10.00 for this debacle on ebay. What the hell was this!!!!! First off I couldn't hear a word what the characters were saying. The sound was just horrific, I had it on max vol and I still couldn't understand the mumbling going on which I think wouldn't matter considering this low brow z affair film of acting. What a calamity, just a bloody joke..... I hope everyone involved in this R.I.P or maybe not.
