    Bullying and Old Friend

The Lightman Group is hired to find the high school student that has sent a threatening video for the school. Cal is visited by his old friend Terry 'Tel' Marsh from London, and he asks Cal to help him. He tells Cal that he has a twelve-thousand-dollar debt in gambling to the mobster McClellan and asks Cal to play poker with the mobster to pay his debts. But soon Cal learns that Terry lied to him and is involved in a serious problem. Further, he learns that the FBI is chasing Terry and the king pin McClellan. Meanwhile, Dr. Foster interviews the students and Principal Mr. Anders and the teacher Mr. Fitzgerald keep up the work with her team.

"Grievous Bodily Harm" is another episode of "Lie to Me" with two good segments. The main storyline shows the gray past of Cal Lightman with his friend Terry. They were con men in London and is disappointing to know his past. The case of Gillian of bullying is normal in high schools in every country. My vote is eight.

    • Trivia
Kelli Williams was sick during part of the filming of this episode. Her voice cracks in most of her scenes. It is especially noticeable during the interrogation scenes.
    • Goofs
McClellan introduces Cal to the thugs at the warehouse using the same alias Terry gave him at the poker game, saying he's his financial advisor, however he then repeatedly calls him Dr. Lightman throughout the scene.
