Statham rocks again, but....
The supporting cast is a huge let down. The main FBI agent is thoroughly unlikable, no charm, no credibility, no way she'd pass through any physical bootcamp to become any type of agent. Her partner is just as pointless. And because we're all conditioned to notice race these days, it's clear that no white people work at the FBI in this universe. The movie could have removed every single one of these characters and been the better for it.
Statham does what Statham does, and is enjoyable as always. Definitely not up there with his best, not even a middle of the road Statham movie like Parker or Safe, an entertaining(ish) watch but wholly forgettable and zero rewatchability.
Struggling to give it 4 out of 10, but Statham and some nifty set pieces just about get it there. Remove the pointless characters, tighten the script, and give Irons and Driver something more to do and it would be a solid 6.
