This is different than most lawyer shows somehow, although I couldn't say right now why that is. The main character, Ingrid, is easy to understand: ambitious, brilliant, focused. What I don't get is the English guy, and what the attraction is there. He's such a bro, and smarmy, and not that attractive; there are many many more attractive, and better, English actors, and he and Ingrid have zero chemistry, as far as I can see. The show does have a good representation, though, of young white lawyers who are entitled and arrogant and condescending, so I guess that adds some reality to the show. It's just hard to care about any of these people.
