Joel McHale credited as playing...
Jeff Winger
- Jeff Winger, Troy Barnes: [Jeff is sitting at the study table reading, he looks up at Troy entering the room wearing the same all-black clothes] Great. So which one of us is gonna head home and... Change.
- Jeff Winger, Troy Barnes, Abed Nadir: [Abed, vocalizing, walks into the room, through a different door, wearing the same all-black clothes] Hilarious. So you guys bought one of my outfits, and then staked out my apartment every day until I wore it? That's not pathetic. Okay. Well, good job. I guess I'm heading home to change now.
- [all turn to exit, Jeff leaves]
- Annie Edison: [Annie rushes into the room wearing the same all-black clothes and is greeted by Abed and Troy] I hit traffic, did I miss it?
- Troy Barnes, Abed Nadir, Annie Edison: Darn it.
- Annie Edison: Pierce has been acting out a lot lately, maybe you should talk to him.
- Jeff Winger: How is that my job?
- Annie Edison: Aren't you, like, the dad?
- Jeff Winger: Would the dad walk away from this conversation?
- Annie Edison: No?
- [Jeff walks away]
- Annie Edison: [Annie gasps] Ah!
- Jeff Winger: Hi. I'm Pierce Hawthorne's emergency contact.
- Receptionist: You're here to pick him up?
- Jeff Winger: [scoffs] No... no. I'm here to be removed as his emergency contact.
- Receptionist: One second.
- Annie Edison: So how's your film going, Abed?
- Shirley Bennett: Blasphemously.
- Abed Nadir: It's not blasphemy to say that we are God, Shirley. First Corinthians: He who unites himself with the Lord is one with him in spirit.
- Shirley Bennett: Did you just scripture me, Muslim?
- Annie Edison: Jesus was Jewish.
- Shirley Bennett: Are you ever gonna let that go?
- Jeff Winger: [lowers newspaper he was reading] Hey. No religious talk.
- Receptionist: You want me to change that or not?
- Jeff Winger: I guess not. But, uhhh... could you do me a favor? Could you add Britta Perry as a contact? P-E-R-R-Y. And would you give her a call a couple times a week? She gets pretty worried about him. And she works days, so make sure you call at night.
