    Playing God

Emily is driving paying attention on her cellphone when she hits an old woman named Veronica on the street. She is confused, does not want to go to a hospital and asks Emily to drive her home. When they arrive, she says that it is the wrong address and Emily calls her father to help her. Soon Cal learns that Veronica has Alzheimer's Disease; believes a man called Charlie wants to kill her after killing her sister Rose; and believes Cal is her husband, Burt. The Lightman Group decides to help the woman, and soon they find the mess she did with the names and situations when she was not lucid. But when Cal learns that there are several deaths at her nursing home, he decides to investigate further the doctors and staff.

"Veronica" is a sad episode of "Lie to Me". Veronica, brilliantly performed by Annette O'Toole, is an elder woman with Alzheimer's Disease that hides a dark secret and presently is mixing with what is happening in her nursing home. Euthanasia is not allowed in USA; therefore, the "Angel of Death" had no right to perform to patients that do not wish to die. Therefore, he is playing God. My vote is seven.

    • Trivia
The song which Veronica plays on the piano by the end of the episode is called "Aguas de Março", written by the Brazilian composer Tom Jobim. Jobim's most famous work is "Garota de Ipanema", which he once performed with Frank Sinatra.
    • Goofs
Veronica says she was a nurse at the time that her sister was in need of an abortion. She is 60 years old in 2009 that would have made her 18 in 1968 - too young to be a nurse.

[I think this is no mistake, so maybe this should be corrected: First she would have been 19 years old. If she had left high school with 17 which is possible, she could have been a nurse two years later, because " there were three ways to become an RN: through a two-year associate degree, a three-year diploma program or four-year baccalaureate program".
