    Boring

Compared to seasons 1 &2, these later seasons become burdensome to watch and this episode in particular is boring. There is a lot of talk, speeches made, but nothing much happens. Patty and Ellen are still chasing their tails not sure whether to go after High Star or not. In the end, you just don't care.

    A Study in Hypocrisy

John Goodman's Erickson is portrayed as the ultimate hypocrite. Or is he? He espouses patriotism while performing acts of torture and death. He pontificates in church in front of his four boys. His reasoning. If the truth comes out, he will not get funding to continue with his actions. I guess some think this is showing America in a bad light. Well, if this were what America does, then so be it. I choose to think that these aberrant sociopaths are not what this country represents. He does not hesitate to torture a man who did everything for him to save his own butt. I don't want to get on a soapbox, but as a work of fiction (which this is) we see the worst of humanity portrayed.

    To torture citizens

Back 2011 it was frowned upon for the government to torture its citizens. In jail without due process. Listening to our phone. Reading our text and email. Miss the good ol days.
