Review by heasliptim

Fire Country

2/10

Bad acting, soap opera that lacks substance

I don't like to write a review prior to watching several episodes of a new show. This is based on whether the pilot was bad yet the show becomes good or visa versa. It takes several episodes for a show to settle in. With that said this show isn't very good. The premise of the show had promise but it gets lost in bad melodrama genre instead of a of a show about fighting fires then character development. Without going into the specifics each character comes into the show with different levels of hurt and anger over an incident that happened years prior. This creates a brooding main character and everyone else who has various levels of anger and resentment. This unfortunately is the focus of the show. Constant arguing and finger pointing week after week.........along with bad acting. I feel like I'm watching some bad Jr High School drama. That along with all the characters related to each in some way shape and form they even argue and fight while "on the job". The writing, along with the acting is bad. Disappointed in this show.
