    Reunion

When Brennan goes to her her high school reunion we know what's coming. There is a dead body. So the reunion becomes the setting for discovering who the murderer is. Booth tries to work his way into things. Bones is surprised how no one liked in high school; any of fifty people could have told her. I loved that she was referred to as Morticia (the slinky woman from the Addams family), because of her fixation on dead things. Her favorite person in high school was the janitor, played by Robert England who is best known as Freddie Kreuger in "A Nightmare on Elm Street." There are some precious scenes with Brennan and Booth dancing. It is so loving as is the final scene with all the friends in the bar.

    One of my faves

Really enjoyed this episode! So fun to go bsck to Brennan's high school, and the whole slasher flick angle. Robert Englund as the janitor was everything!!! So perfect!!!

    absolutely adore ! <3

(hi bones booth pod :-)) This is one of my favourite episodes of all time- it's a really interesting and fun way to bounce off of last weeks episode (forcing B&B together despite the awkwardness after last weeks confession) <3 As someone who strongly headcanons Brennan as autistic (and I relate to her heavily as an autistic person myself), this episode really solidifies that, as I'm sure many of us can relate to her experiences here (especially with being bullied for our autistic traits being "creepy"- as someone with a special interest in forensic anthro, i Get Her). It's a little painful to watch at times, knowing how she must have felt, but I love anytime we learn about her childhood, as it always adds so much to the way we read her. The case itself isn't even of that much interest to me, but I simply could not care less because I love all of the B&B moments in this episode <3 Him giving her the dance she never got is so ! Special ! To me !!! In conclusion- someone please give brennan a hug 😭

    still socially inept

After five and a half years, bones is as socially inept as ever ... she certainly isn't smart in my book and i think this is the prop the writers use to keep space between she and booth ... its getting quite boring and makes me want to move on ...

    • Trivia
Both Sweets' comment that Ray Buxley is "Freddy creepy" and Booth's that he has a lot of blades are nods to Englund's role as Freddy Krueger.
    • Goofs
When the Becky Conway character is introduced, she says she is the Sheriff and has a badge that says, "Sheriff's Department". Her uniform shoulder patch shows she is an Illinois State Trooper (Illinois State Police).

Special Agent Seeley Booth: Alright, let's get some punch.

Dr. Temperance 'Bones' Brennan: Oh - oh! Can we dance, Booth? It's Seal.

Special Agent Seeley Booth: Well, it's a slow song.

Dr. Temperance 'Bones' Brennan: Oh, I'm sorry, is that too difficult for you?

Dr. Temperance 'Bones' Brennan: I just don't want any misunderstandings here, that's all, Bones. I mean, you know, we, uh, opened up a door there that neither one of us wants to walk through.

Dr. Temperance 'Bones' Brennan: I know. I - I just - was asking to dance. Because I remember the song. I'm sorry.

Special Agent Seeley Booth: No - you know what? Hey, it's just a dance. It's - it's your reunion. Okay, let's do it. Let's dance. Yeah, come on.

Dr. Temperance 'Bones' Brennan: [Bones pulls him in to dance]

[Booth pushes her away to arm's length]

      Dr. Temperance 'Bones' Brennan: Oh.

      [laughs]

Dr. Temperance 'Bones' Brennan: Why are you so far away?

Special Agent Seeley Booth: You know, just keeping room for the Holy Spirit. That's all.
