- Richard Castle: [chuckles] Never picked you for a magic fan. You know any good tricks?
- Kate Beckett: I do this one thing. With ice cubes.
- Richard Castle: Hey... X-ray specs. Got them at the magic shop... I can see... you naked.
- Kate Beckett: Really? How do you like my navel ring?
- Richard Castle: Are you kidding me? He has an identical twin... who wears glasses. That's the worst disguise since Clark Kent, and you believe him?
- [Castle ends a phone call with his ex-wife Gina as Esposito, having just been in bed with Lanie, walks up]
- Javier Esposito: What's up, Castle? How's it going?
- Richard Castle: You want my advice? Never sleep with someone you work with.
- [thinking Castle is talking about Lanie]
- Javier Esposito: What? What do you mean?
- Richard Castle: Trust me. It doesn't end well.
- Javier Esposito: Who knows?
- Richard Castle: Everyone knows.
- Kate Beckett: [approaching] Everyone knows what?
- Javier Esposito, Richard Castle: Nothing.
- [leaving interrogation after questioning a suspect]
- Richard Castle: I don't know how Zalman did it. He must've lifted something from Jerome's pocket with a receipt from his weekend of sin.
- Kate Beckett: Like this?
- [Beckett holds up his cell phone]
- Richard Castle: [gasps] You had your hand in my pocket and I didn't even feel it? Do it again.
- Richard Castle: Heading out?
- Kate Beckett: Yeah. It's late.
- Richard Castle: Motorcycle boy?
- Kate Beckett: I really wish you would stop calling him that.
- Richard Castle: Dr. motorcycle boy?
- Lanie Parish: Well, maybe this'll cheer you up.
- [hands Castle an evidence bag]
- Richard Castle: Old man hair.
- Lanie Parish: White rabbit fur. It came from his teeth and throat.
- Richard Castle: So he was killed... by a rabbit who did not want to be pulled out of a hat.
- [last lines]
- Richard Castle: [having broken up with Gina] Hey, I wanted to say thanks for, um... not mentioning that article or asking what was going on.
- [they get onto the elevator; Beckett magically conjures a bouquet of flowers]
- Kate Beckett: Not a problem.
- [she hands them over as the elevator doors close]
