It's a Jersey thing!
New Jersey's people started to move to South Park but their language and mean behavior is moving with them too. South Park's people are quite afraid that these people would spread more and more, so they decided to get help from al-Qaida to cease that. Stan is quite angry because his mother too is from New Jersey so his cute friend Cartman is considering him that he's from New Jersey and he needs to move out too.
This is a thought-provoking episode to convey that most people judge you by default from where you were born or raised, so it was clearly depicted that all the people from New Jersey are quite bad and they suck without taking into consideration that individuals differ and it's not a one-size-fits-all matter.

I was wrong, this is a great episode
3 strikes kahl, you're out! Says cartman as his hatred for Kyle never gets old.
Started off amazingly
But then just dragged and lost me towards the end. Loved the idea...and the execution for the beginning was on point. The set up was better than the punch line.
I was shocked when i noticed it only had a rating of 8 on IMDB bc it started off so well, i was expecting to see a rating of 9 or 10. I ended up giving it a 7. I really wanted to like it more. This was my 3rd or 4th viewing of this episode 10 years later though.

Underrated
I don't understand why this is not regarded as a classic.
It has some of the elements that made me interested in South Park in the first place.
Snooki and Osama Bin Laden in the same episode.. How can you not love this?
I mean c'mon!! :)
Worst South Park episodes of all time!
Yes, I'm originally from NJ and I'm part Italian, evan though The Jersey Shore is a huge discrase to NJ and that's why the modern South Park episodes are a huge discrease to me, because people from NJ don't deserve this kind of treatment! And that is where Trey and Matt are going to far!
Did you know
- TriviaKyle's transformation to becoming a Jerseyite is a reference to Teen Wolf (1985).
- GoofsEven though it's fiction, this is the the second time that Osama bin Laden was killed by being shot in the head.
- Quotes
Kyle Broflovski: [pushes Eric Cartman into a tree] I'm NOT one of them! Do you understand me? You better get that through your fat head! I will never be one of them, and if you say it again I swear to God, I'll smash your fucking teeth in!
