James Rolfe's deep dive into horror and monster cinema!
Highly recommend this series to anyone who enjoys reviews of horror flicks from the old to the new. James is obviously incredibly passionate about the genre, as well as incredibly knowledgeable. I loved this series during its heyday and I'm really looking forward to diving in once again!
The best film and game reviewer to ever exist
Hes a larger than life personality, i think ive watched every video he has done from when he first started to now, he reviews films with his quirky larger than life humour but he is really good, probably the best at what he does, just watch everything he has dk e over the years, he makes reviews entertaining the guys a genius, he also makes music too mega talented, ive been a fan for what seems like forever lol.
A great ongoing series
Monster Maddness is something I look forward to every October. It perfectly captures that feeling of Halloween and the fall season. James Rolfe is a talented filmmaker who has a real appreciation for film. In this series, he covers horror movies from every era since the dawn of cinema. If you like horror, definitely check it out.
For Horror Fans
Excellent show from the creator of Angry Video Game Nerd. I look forward to this every October.
Its Madness alright!
James Rolfe AKA AVGN brings to light every October a tribute to genres like horror, psycho logical and suspenseful films. By giving a light review without spoiling the plot and ending and even giving facts about the film and actors.
I love how open he is giving us his hilarious opinion on some of the films that really impacted his life even influencing his work, as well as some of us. I look forward every year to watching his list of horror movies. This year he is going through the ages of horror which starts off with the top 10 for each decade starting with the 1930s and continues on to the 21st century. My first memory as a child was watching Night of the Creeps on television back in the 80s. This movie influenced my life in ways I never thought were possible. As a horror fan I would highly recommend watching this series of videos because you will probably find something new with each episode.

- TriviaOriginally Monster Madness was intended to be a feature length documentary that would have been uploaded on Cinemassacre's website. Because of the limited space of video that can be uploaded on the internet at the time, the documentary would have to be divided into segments. Due to that issue, James Rolfe decided to make several video segments each discussing a different horror movie during the whole month of October. That decision lead to the creation of this series.
