    A Good Family Show

No Q&A, Carol announces it's a family show.

Some funny TV commercial spoofs. Jim Connell joins Carol and Vicki on a diaper ad. Harvey and Lyle do EF Hutton in a funeral parlor. Lyle, Jim and Harvey do a Matador ad (then a popular new car).

Carol, Harvey and Lyle do a sketch on models posing in their daily life.

Carol sings an old English type ballad about shapes like squares and triangles, funny punchline.

One of the funniest Carol & SIs sketches has Carol with the flu. Roger scared of catching it. Jim the lovesick elevator operator shows up with flowers, funniest scene is when he sings a love song.

Carol introduces Vicki to sing her "new hit song". She had a #1 hit with The Night The Lights Went Out In Georgia" but sings "Ships In The Night" here which did not chart.

A long spoof of Back Street has Harvey a married man who promises bridesmaid Carol he will return for her. He does every few years.

A touching sketch of Carol and Harvey as a hobo couple who go to their condemned tavern. They sing Those Were The Days. There is also nice song about blessings on Christmas Day.

Carol plugs next week's Australia show, talks about pollution and Christmas seals, sings her theme and Harvey pulls her ear. Jim signs her book.

    • Trivia
WARDROBE: Carol comes out in a bright tangerine suit and patterned shirt with huge prints. She removes her jacket to show that the shirt was backless and looked like the top of a dress. Carol tries to put the jacket back on but messes up. Later, she wears the same pink fairy dress for the jilted lover sketch. All costumes by Bobby Mackie.
    • Goofs
Carol comes out to the audience at the beginning, wearing a tangerine suit and white shirt patterned with black and orange. She turns around, lowers her jacket to show that the shirt is backless and shimmies. She then turns back around towards the audience, as she tries to put her jacket back on, but she somehow messes up and she can't get the jacket to rise back up. Carol attempted to remain cool but she seemed a bit embarrassed after boasting about her looks.
