The Diplomat (2023)

The Diplomat

2/10

War propaganda in reverse psychology

It's a bit of a letdown. The show tries to be all smart by using reverse psychology to criticize war, but it ends up doing the exact opposite, promoting it adding some really sneaky false self congratulatory amercian heroism in a weird way.

It's like they're saying, "Hey, war is awful but we would be in one in a second, And we're going to say Iran in every second sentence as a non-threatening way nowadays because our ayatollah puppets are in real trouble suppressing Iranians while we need them to more than ever. And put our propaganda in there like there has always been conflict and that part of the world has always been dangerous and the US had nothing to do with it. Just a fun energetic peacekeeping loyal ally" How fluffy and full of dignity is the US!

The US doesn't miss any chance to start or trigger a new one. Look at Ukraine.

Also, let's forget ayatollahs have been CIA puppets all the way from coup 53 with their names still taped on the published documents in 2018 under freedom of information act.

If you're looking for something insightful and thought-provoking, I'd say skip this one. The reverse psychology approach here is aimed at and works on brainwashing average western voters to have two words hacked in their mind: Iran, Russia and War. Really nasty work here. Big war industry must be proud of you though.
