Trivia
Barney creator Sheryl Leach originally connived Barney as a bear until she noticed her son's enthusiasm for dinosaurs during a visit to a museum and decided to make Barney a dinosaur.

Goofs
When we are shown the kids at the breakfast table the kids' cereal bowls have Froot Loops but no milk in the bowls.

Crazy credits
The end credits start rolling right before the Hokey Pokey number ends. The kids run to the table, and the parents start serving the cake, then the picture freeze-frames while the credits are still rolling.
