Wallace and Gromit's World of Invention

With absolutely charming stop-motion animation linking each segment of fascinating science, this is a slam-dunk for kids of a scientific or curious bent. Wallace and Gromit, are, of course, well-known characters already; kids have probably already seen one of their many shorts and movies, so they draw kids into what might otherwise be offputtingly technical.

Speaking of the show's technical segments, they may be a little detail-heavy for younger kids or those who aren't interested in the subject material. But if parents are, World of Invention is a great pick to watch with kids, because adults will be just as interested as kids to know how a jet pack works and why you don't slam into the side of the building when you're flying one. That sounds a little scary, but it's not presented as such; everything here is light, fun, and definitely aimed at promoting a love of science and invention.

I am a huge fan of Aardman and their works, Wallace & Gromit, Morph, Shaun the Sheep, Creature Comforts, as well as their more darker side like Angry Kid, Stage Fright, Babylon, Rex the Runt and Pib and Pog. When I watched the last short film with the loveable duo, A Matter of Loaf and Death, i thought that this was the last time Peter Sallis voiced Wallace, before retiring in 2010, and later passing away in 2017. However, I then found this show, and I got to say, it's good, even though it's mainly a documentary show that somehow has the narrator from Peppa Pig (WHY?!?), with Wallace & Gromit having some segments of their own.

This show has nothing to do with Wallace and Gromit. It's a science/nature show aimed at very small children. Even those children will disappointed at the lack of Wallace and Gromit in the show.

I recently watched "Wallace and Gromit: World of Invention," and I can't help but give it a solid 10 out of 10! This show is such a delightful blend of creativity and clever storytelling. Wallace and Gromit, the iconic duo, guide us through various inventions and innovations, and it's done in a way that's both entertaining and informative.

The animation is brilliant, as expected from the creators of the original series. Each episode takes you on a fun journey, showcasing real-world inventions while throwing in the beloved humor and quirky charm we all love about Wallace and Gromit. Their interactions are always a highlight, with Wallace's eccentric personality perfectly contrasting Gromit's silent but expressive presence.

What I appreciated most is how the show manages to engage both kids and adults. It's not just educational for children; adults can enjoy the humor and the nostalgia of the characters. There are moments that truly make you think about creativity and innovation in a light-hearted way.

Overall, if you're a fan of Wallace and Gromit or just love good, wholesome entertainment, "World of Invention" is definitely worth a watch. It's fun, inspiring, and leaves you with a smile. Highly recommend it!
