I saw a nice review of this show in Entertainment Magazine and checked it with On Demand. It is funny, trendy and very enjoyable. I have been a Brian Austin Green fan since his days on Knots Landing in the '80s (totally showing my age!); Ha! I was also excited to see Melora Hardin (crazy Jan from The Office) and the rest of the cast is also great. It is getting difficult to find any shows on TV that are not full of blood and gore and this show is simply fun to watch and nobody gets hurt. There also seems to be a nice mix of familiar songs and well as some new, catchy tunes. This is a great show and I am looking forward to the rest of the season and hopefully several seasons thereafter.
OK, bare with me, because a) this is my first review here, and b) I'm not a native English speaker.
We (my wife and I) have seen 5 episodes so far, and the thing that stands out for me is that the stories are fun, lighthearted and for people who played in a cover band at times very recognizable. The lead singer who tries to pull all the girls, the goof-ball (in this case the drummer), the new guy (bass-player) and the guy who tries to keep the things in order (remarkebly the lead guitarist). Also the way the new guy gets initiated and taken into the band is funny and very true.
A hats off for the people who choose the music in the episodes; very cool songs, and very cool covers.
And for the people who don't like BAG; just try it, you won't be disappointed.

Four friends in their 30s are still playing in a wedding band. Tommy (Brian Austin Green) is the womanizing lead singer. Eddie (Peter Cambor) is the happily family man whose cop wife Ingrid (Kathryn Fiore) hates his weekend gigs. Barry (Derek Miller) is the quintessential drummer. Stevie (Harold Perrineau) is the newest member of the band. Roxie Rutherford (Melora Hardin) runs a wedding service, and Rachel (Jenny Wade) is her long suffering assistant.
This is a fun show with fun actors doing fun characters. They do some music every once in awhile. It's always a fun performance. They feel like a happy tight group. It's a fun show to watch.

I love this show. I think it is great. I love the music they play and I like the way each week they are playing at a different type of gig and adapt to it. Brian Austin Green is great in the show and he isn't bad to look at! I look forward to the show each week. Sad that next week is season finale. I hope the show returns for a second season. All the guys on the show are talented and I am curious if they are all playing the instruments and if any of the tunes are original songs from Brian Austins Band. I could do without the woman playing Roxie, she is a bit annoying and really isn't very pretty. Regardless I will continue to watch the show as long as its on the air. I look forward to it each week.
I Like the whole idea of the show. I was looking forward to its start but I almost felt awkward and uncomfortable watching the women in this show. The guys were fine and believable and the show is probably predominately written by men which explains the way the show plays out the way it does and I get that but if you want the show to appeal to both... The women were so fake and kind of stiff and uncomfortable, the general idea of the women has potential but it is not really believable. Unfortunately it ruined the whole show for me. I really wanted to like this show I will check out the next episode to see if this can be resolved. Really people it has the potential and I am sure real people have had many funny experiences concerning this.
