Smack Attack

This is one of my favorite shows, and I am going back through the seasons. This episode just had a few of my personal peeves.

Being catholic is a good thing (no better or worse than most), but Frank lets his association with the church get involved with his job too often; in some episodes to an extreme level.

About halfway in, Alyson scrapes her nails on my chalkboard (my annoyance list #5) when she is talking to the detectives after the hit and run: "Her, me and Billy were in the same class." Private school money well spent. I guess she missed her English class the day they taught pronoun usage.

And that grand daughter. Their discussion on legalizing drugs really blurs some lines. She says "it is in Calif. Medical marijuana." Then she gets all pissy when other family members disagree. If you feel you are old enough to have an opinion, as controversial or mild as it may be, you need to be mature enough to listen to the opinions of others and maybe support your thoughts.

At least no one misused "literally".

Both the Reagan brothers have a piece of the main story line in this Blue Bloods episode. Will Estes and training officer Nicholas Turturro respond to a noise complaint call and at a teen party find 3 kids ODed on a designer drug and one Jamie saves with some CPR.

The case however goes to Donnie Wahlberg and Jennifer Esposito. All the kids go to the same Catholic High School and the detectives chase many a false lead before finding the responsible party. The motive is one of the sickest the show ever had.

You will love the ending.
