Haylie is no Hillary. Her character portrayal is the same in everything I've seen. The machinations are old and dried up. Tampering with the food, copying a house key with wax etc... I couldn't even make it through. Turned it off at 56 minutes when I gave up believing that anything interesting was going to happen.
Home Invasion (2012) Review:
"Home Invasion" is an excruciatingly bad movie that fails on almost every level. The acting is atrocious, led by Haylie Duff, whose performance is so wooden she could have been replaced by a mannequin, and no one would have noticed. Every line feels forced, and her lack of emotional range makes it impossible to connect with her character.
The storyline is painfully uninspired. It trudges through every tired cliché of the home invasion genre without a shred of creativity. Instead of building suspense, the film meanders into the absurd, presenting a plot so riddled with holes it feels like the script was written in one afternoon and never revisited.
Speaking of the plot, it is utterly ridiculous. The characters make laughably poor decisions at every turn, making it hard to suspend disbelief. Rather than creating tension or fear, the film inspires only frustration and unintentional laughter.
If this movie is evidence of anything, it's that Haylie Duff should seriously consider a different career path. Her acting here not only detracts from the story but actively contributes to the film's downfall. It's hard to imagine why she was cast in the first place.
In short, "Home Invasion" is a complete waste of time. If you value your sanity or your evening, steer clear of this disaster. You'll thank yourself later.

Look it's a great film. The story. The acting is excellent. Script is really good. The bad guy in this movie even though you are shown right at the start isn't suspicious for the most part. The victim pace in putting it together was realistic. I enjoyed this movie a lot. If it had a little more suspense I would have given a 10.
Normally, I hate lifetime movies but this was an exception. I'd have rated it higher, but other than Gone With the Wind and Wizard of Oz, not much deserves a 10 rating.
This was totally believable, not outlandish. Hillary Duff was diabolical as well as realistic.
The setup was logical, 90% of the scenes were completely believable.
The ending for Duff was exactly what she deserved.
I'd actually watch this again.
I doubt you'd be disappointed after watching.

Very good movie . The lesson is never earn moneys in a bad way like House robbery , Bank robbery etc . It takes people's lives , People's relatives , people's happyness , people's future . This is the main lesson . Btw it's a great movie , I enjoyed it .

- TriviaAlthough the film was shot in January 2011, there was a week of unseasonably warm weather (mid-eighties) that, as luck would have it, just happened to coincide with the filming of the beach and pool scenes.
