BillyJo Jenkins is the new secretary and receptionist at Red Rooster Rejuvinators, a small and seedy wholesale company in New York which sells the 'Red Rooster Red Pill' as a male enhancement stimulant. It is run by Texan hillbilly Jasper Jeeters who employs Ricky and Groovy as the company's door-to-door sales associates. During her first days on the job, BillyJo tries to help Jasper come up with a new slogan while trying to help Ricky and Groovy set up a TV commercial for their product.

Jasper is served a court summons by a rep from the Food and Drug Administration to prove that the Red Rooster pill is compliant with FDA regulations. At the same time, Jasper deals with Bubbles, a wealthy widow who relentlessly hounds him in hopes that he will ask for her hand in marriage.

With Red Rooster in danger of closing down, Jasper is forced to ask his former flame, Wilma Wombat, for financial assistance as he fends off two different widows wanting to be with him.

Red Rooster's renewed success with sales draws the unwanted attention of local mafia boss Luigi Humberto who shows up with his goons at Red Rooster to demand a cut of the profits from Jasper. Meanwhile, Worthington makes another attempt to try to get the FDA to close down Red Rooster while he makes dinner plans with his secretary Zelda Brown.

After Jasper turns down Luigi's business offer to buy out Red Rooster, Rickey and Groovy are forced to go into hiding in women's clothing to avoid Luigi's henchmen looking for them, only to run into complications when Luigi mistakes the dressed-in-drag Rickey and Groovy to be escorts. At the same time, Junior tries to romance BillyJo who decides to use that to her advantage to help out Rickey and Groovy.

Mr. Barfoot, a businessman with connections in the US senate, offers to help Jasper keep Red Rooster in business by pressuring Worthington and the FDA to back off the heat and make the Red Rooster pill FDA approved through a legal loophole. Meanwhile, Bubbles romances a certain Mr. Philpot from London. Elsewhere, an Arab shiek tries to get a loan from Luigi, who sees a business opportunity in investing internationally with Red Rooster, while Luigi's secretary, Miss La Tour, shows an interest in the shiek.
