'Frenemies' was the first movie of this summer holidays and I loved it very much. There were three stories in it and I like them all. The first story was about a boy and his dog. The dog was so cute. The second story about two thick friends who does everything together, they have never separated, but one it will be tested when they seek the job at a fashion magazine. And the third and final was about two girls who alike. the movie ends with a wonderful song.It was different movie than I thought.one of the best Disney channel movie.
Okay, I won't lie; this movie made me chuckle a few times. But at the end of the day it was stupid, trashy nonsense and I'm not just saying that because it's a film aimed at kids. You can watch much better movies with your children. I'd even recommend "High School Musical" over this garbage.
Some of the messages it sends out are bizarre. Best friends are great and all but are you really going to let friendship get in the way of a huge career opportunity? And why did the first mindless tween let his dog get in the way of a relationship? Granted, it wasn't a very healthy relationship, but who knows how many more times he's going to put his dog before actual people? And as for act three... well, I don't even have to go into that. It was a total rip-off of "The Parent Trap." This film is a cliché storm and compared to this, "Camp Rock" looks like "The Godfather." By all means, skip it.

I love disney but this was an awful film with awful acting (thank goodness they've gotten better since). it was cheesy in a bad way. i honestly don't know why i watched it all the way to the end
Avalon Greene (Bella Thorne) and Halley Brandon (Zendaya) used to be BFFs. Now, they're frenemies. Same goes for their various fellow teens. Superficial Julianne (Stefanie Scott) uses science nerd Jake Logan (Nick Robinson) to partner up with for their science project. His dog Murray is too smart for her tricks. Skateboarding Savannah (Mary Mouser) seems to like both Jake and Murray. Then there is Savannah and her rich doppelganger Emma.
I don't like Jake's temporary turn against Murray. I don't like either Avalon or Halley. By the time we get to Savannah/Emma, I stopped caring. The cast is filled with interesting up and comers. It's fun to see the kid actors trying to do some acting. Splitting the movie up into three sections does not help with the flow. Overall, it's not good.

I absolutely loved this movie, it was an awesome movie coming from a 23 year old! I do recommend! So upset I can't find on DVD as they took it off Netflix!

- GoofsAs Savannah skateboards down the sidewalk toward Jake and Murray (the dog), she loses control and flips over a bush out of sight. Her skateboard remains behind on the middle of the sidewalk about midway on a driveway where the two intersect. The next shot is a point of view from Jake looking up the sidewalk, but no skateboard can be seen anywhere near the driveway and sidewalk intersection. The following scene shows Savannah returning to the sidewalk, but now the skateboard is on the sidewalk near the right edge of the driveway rather than at the original midway point.
