Goofs
Both the Lieutenant and Captain in the HQ scenes have their shoulder boards reversed (the left one on the right shoulder & vice-versa). The "executive curl" always faces forward, whether on the shoulder boards, or on a jacket sleeve. They'd be liable to be told they were "sailing backwards", and probably have to stand a round of drinks for everyone in the officers mess.

Alternate versions
This British-German co-production exists in two versions. The British cut focuses more on the British side, the German one focusing more on the German side. This is mainly done by a different arrangement of the scenes.
