Another Me

This movie seemed like it would be great. Concept seemed interesting and I love pretty much every actor in this movie so how bad could it be? Well, turns out it can be pretty terrible.

Firstly it moves so slow. Every scene seems to drag on forever. The movie feels 3 times longer than the actual run time. It's dreary. It's uninteresting. It's hard to care about the fate of any character.

Basically if you love a good scary movie or if you love any of the actors in this movie, do yourself a favour and go watch something else. This movie didn't deserve the talent it wasted, don't let it waste your time as well.

Life was calm for fay the girl with a lovely family and a routine sweet life until her nightmares become real and after an incident, her father becomes ill and she starts to see another of herself. The script starts quite well but very soon it becomes predictable and cliché. 'Another me' was the film debut of Sophie Turner which wasn't a shining debut at all. The cast is below average with really weak acts which in my opinion is the fault of the director. The music and soundtracks are mediocre but in a few cases irrelevant to the scene. The genre of the movie as mentioned in IMDB is Mystery and thriller, well, to be honest, it didn't thrill me at all. And the mystery was quite obvious for a regular cinema fan.

Overall, 'another me' was a low-budget movie that grossed hardly half a million. It does not have anything special to be mentioned or any specific feature to be proud of itself. I can recommend it to you only if you are in the fandom of Sophie turner other than that do not try it, it's a waste of time.

Overall, this film was OK but not as good as the film image shows it to be. To be honest the film's ending was amazing however it was an extremely long build up to the conclusion which by the way, was shocking. Great actress but she has so much more potential and this film didn't show it; she has been mainly known for Game of Thrones. I would only recommend this film to people who wouldn't mind waiting for a twist towards the end of the film and to be patient with this film. Great story though but it was to long and needed a bit more action.

It didn't show much of Faye's back-story and this is basically the vital part to the film as you and even I didn't understand until the end where it described everything that had happened.

Honestly, it could have been a lot better and had a bit more of a rhythm and story to it.

BOTH FILMS USE AN EERIE UNDERPASS FROM THE APT. HOUSE AND EVEN THE OUTSIDE OF THE APT. HOUSE LOOKS SIMILAR?

Anyone else notice that?

And also the theme of the girl being bullied by her jealous classmate.

No not a great film, but I love it's atmosphere, and the music is particularly beautiful & haunting. Good cast, but kinda wasted-- Ifans and Forlani and also the wonderful Ivana Barquero, who was amazing in as the young girl in "Pan's Labyrinth", I would have liked to see more of especially . Was nice to see Sophie in another role after being a fan of "Game of Thrones"--She is rather stiff as an actress, but I hope she will improve with more experience.

I love the cinematography of this movie and the characters too and etc. Everything is perfect in this movie except the story and the ending.. but it worth to watch:)
