It's AFV but it's a "turn your brain off and enjoy with friends" show

With Tosh.0 debuting on Comedy Central in 2009, becoming their most popular and most-watched show, MTV decided to cash in on their successful cash cow (i.e. Rob Dyrdek) to host a "reacting to funny and surprising internet video" show.

Enter Ridiculousness, hosted by entrepreneur Dyrdek, who also had 2 other shows from MTV he did: Rob & Big and Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory before hosting Ridiculousness.

The 2 co-hosts/commenters, also from Fantasy Factory, were Sterling "Steelo" Brim, who controls the videos by playing, pausing, rewinding, fast-forwarding, speeding it up and slowing it down when commanded by the host, and rapper Chanel West Coast, who, for the most part, usually just sits there and occasionally laughs, therefore introducing to the mainstream media to what we know as "the girl with the laugh" (and to answer the question that is on everyone's mind, its cute and infectious and I'm gonna leave it at that).

Chanel would leave in 2023, and after many guest co-hosts throughout the year, they settled on Lauren "Lolo" Wood as the new permanent "just sit there and laugh" co-host.

I wouldn't recommend watching more than maybe 2 episodes at most, as its usually the same format for every episode (with minor differences in some episodes), and try not to think while watching this show as your brain will overheat in confusion and frustration, and would eventually shut down completely.

    Dreadful

Worst show to ever exist. An embarrassment to the human race. The host acts like an idiotic ten year old. You will lose IQ points every minute you drudge through the idiocy of the show.

    Awful, cringe, stay away

This has got to be the worst and most annoying show I've ever watched and it's on every time I visit America. Kill this show immediately before more people accidentally see it. I'd rather watch 1990 you've been framed that have to sit through this again.

    Just ghastly.

The cackle of the girl cohost sounds like nails on a chalk board. All she does it sit there are cackle at any gross video they feature. The main host should thank his lucky stars that he has this gig. It must be the easiest job in earth. I assume this show is designed for teens and children. Stunt videos and immature comments galore !

One of the worst shows on TV.

I honestly do not understand how ANYBODY over the age of 10 could find this show funny. A show like this needs a comedian as the host, not a former skateboarder/businessman who's in his 40s and dresses like a 17 year-old. The clips that they show are basically just drunk people falling on their face or their behind, and then sometimes Rob will ask his friend "Steelo" to "replay" the clip in slow motion (something that could easily be done in post- production), and pauses it right before the fall, and then Rob points out something we can already see, and then he makes some lame joke about it. But the worst part of the show, by far, is Chanel West Coast. She sits on the stage and just laughs at the clips, she doesn't even talk! She adds NOTHING to the show.

Perhaps the show is okay in moderation, but the worst part about the show is the fact that MTV plays it almost 24/7. Nearly every day during the week, MTV will show a marathon for 6+ hours, and that's being lenient. Sometimes, they show it for over 12 hours. Meanwhile, they push their other shows to the side by showing zero reruns during the week, and for what reason? Who can possibly stand 10 hours of people being clumsy?
