    Good Watch. Entertaining

The movie brings out something new, with a touch of magic and arts in the best form seen till today. Aamir Khan has given his heart and soul to the film , as always he takes the show away. The music is average, the action scenes many places get punctured and seem to be there more for the actors desires to do them than to add to the flow n value of the script. Although there are many such showcase of great skill and intellect in the best of places yet the story lacks the twists which and layering. Ah! the much talked about 5cr dance, is splendid however.. 5 Cr's looks way too crazy where I'd love to know where did they spend that much in that song... How much ever booing happens, the movie has outdone the other blockbusters where turnovers r concerned. Do enjoy the film!!

    The master does it again.

I haven't been a big fan of the Dhoom series. So I wasn't sure how better it could be from the other two. My instincts told me that I had to trust the master's instincts, for the master has an incredible knack of getting the best out of his directors. After all, he has delivered every time in different conditions as in '1947 Earth', 'Ghajini' and '3 Idiots'. A little tentative, I finished my cigarette and walked into the auditorium. To my surprise, I found myself transported to an amazing fantasy world. There are inescapable nods to the larger than life aerobatics and fanciful feats of Salman Bhai and Rajnikanth.

I am surprised that naysayers are calling it a copy of The Prestige. Didn't the same people call Ghajini a copy of Memento and Munnabhai a copy of Patch Adams? The real rip-offs are movies like Bheja Fry, Criminal (copy of The Fugitive), Zeher (from Out of Time), Emraan Hashmi's The Train (copied from Derailed) etc.

How can I end the review without commenting on the master's look? His physique is well-chiseled and toned in need of the character -- a big nod of approval from our generation of fitness freaks. His hairdos are always talked about and this time he keeps it subtle, yet a well-groomed look.

As an actor, Aamir shines and he shines well. It sounds like a cliché but he gives another career-best performance. His passion for his craft is highly commendable. Uday Chopra is cheery and respectfully renders himself to the sidelines. Abhishek Bachchan broods a little too much but is okay at times. He doesn't have the pull to make a 'massy' entry on rickshaw. The young lad Siddharth Nigam is brilliant. It's a treat to see Jaggu Dada (Jackie Shroff). He fits in so easily to his character. As much as I enjoyed the first time, on the second viewing it got even better. All is indeed well.

    Entertainer of the year

An out and out entertainer. Vijay Krishna Acharya makes no mistakes this time and boasts this highly awaited franchise with an engaging script that makes the audience guessing till the very end. Death defying stunts especially with those bikes. Catchy dialogues. Spectacular sets that makes Dhoom: 3 a pulse rising chilling cop thief adventure that has a highly satisfying and spectacularly dazzling individual part of Aamir Khan that stays with you for long and asks repeat viewing. Vijay Krishna Acharya sticks to the basics shows his outmost loyalty to the genre dosen,t go for any layers and while he makes us jump out of our seats with those action shocks draws out those soft funny moments with finesse and even easily manages a touch of romance into the yarn with commendable ease. Technicalities are first rate. Sudeep Chatterjee cinematography is a treat to the eye. Editing by Ritesh Soni is crisp. Sumit Basu's production designing, Adri Siriwatt art direction is spectacular. Manoshi Nath, Rushi Sharma and Anaita Shroff costume designing is chic. Pritam Chakraborty music adds memento to the adrenaline rush. Title track, 'malang' and 'kamli' are a take home. Aamir Khan: you know how serious he is about his choices. And you know how really he works hard on his characters he plays. In Dhoom: 3 Aamir is in great shape and gives a brilliantly mature performance. His finesse to enter into the skin of the character is well known but here he as an actor/performer does to the franchise what a superstar should do- he demands a repeat viewing and that is the biggest USP of this installment. His fans and audience in general will go gaga. Katrina Kaif: boy she was never so delicious. The lass who has grown up tremendously as an actress has worked a lot for this and it shows. In 'Kamli' Katrina is bewitchingly sexy. Truly it's impossible to shift your eyes from her. Fabulous. Abhishek Bachchan: is in complete element and seems to be enjoying the fun. Highly entertaining. Uday Chopra: is very funny and successfully makes yo

    Don't Underestimate Dhoom

I have seen many stupid things in Hollywood movies too like riding bikes and cars on a rope. Then why don't people underestimate those movies? why only Bollywood? funny thing is its all the Indians that underestimate our movies. No Wonder India Is Still Like This!!! No Unity. All of the Fast and Furious movies define all of the gravity laws and physics. Why doesn't people have any problem with that? Is it because they think white people make the best movies. F**k no. White people make the best character movies like Forrest Gump, Cast Away, The Godfather. BUT WHEN IT COMES TO ACTION MOVIES, BOLLYWOOD AND Hollywood ARE THE SAME STILL. Its just that Hollywood has better technologies to make a good looking action film. Transformers is as stupid movies can get to and they call it realistic. SO DON'T TELL ME Hollywood ACTION IS ANY BETTER!!!!

    A Classic

Dhoom3 is a classic. I was never a fan of Dhoom1 and 2. Dhoom 3 is simply superb thanks to Aamir Khan and Jackie Shroff. This film is like watching any Hindi classic of 1970-85 period (of Rajesh Khanna, Dharmendra and not of Mithun). Jackie Shroff's acting was another highlight and Jackie's acting resembled /infact reminded me of the intense acting of Rajesh Khanna. Hope this time every award show gives away Best actor award to only one man Aamir Khan and Jackie gets award for supporting actor. Situations have been deliberately created to ensure the police team of Abhishek and Uday catch Aamir. The only weakness in the film is the introductory action - scene of Abhsihek and Uday - which was pathetic. Direct Robbery scenes have not been shown - now that's okay as we have many other films showing how thieves rob and so is not a flaw!! Abhishek,Uday,Katrina don't have much to do. Katrina has been made to dance very well. This film is a must watch. Worth watching in theaters. After long time a film from which my eyes never ever strayed from the screen. A clean family entertainer. Music of the song Tu Hai junOon was great. Worth your money. Plus point is Aamir Khan's characterization of his double role of Sahir and Samar and strong story-line.

I Guess all those reviews - which say the film has goof-ups and term the film a disaster - r plain idiots. Those who love films of 1970-85 would like dhoom 3. This film is way above Chennai Expres or Kirsh 2 and 3. if this film is called a disaster then may be people's tastes have changed- they want vulgar scenes and jokes or 3rd rate Masala film (like Rowdy Rathore or Grand Masti or Ek Tha Tiger or Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani or expect that length of the film to be below 2 hours).

    • Trivia
Aamir Khan apparently signed an agreement that the hero won't bash him in the film though he is the villain which irked Gulshan Grover who felt villians should be bold enough to take beating. Because of this 3 is the only film of the franchise in which ACP Jai Dixit (Abhishek Bachchan), does not physically fight the villain during the climax of the film,
    • Goofs
During the fight scene between Jai Dixit and the local goons, he breaks through several brick walls while riding an auto-rickshaw, but the vehicle does not even end up with a single scratch despite breaking through several solid walls.
